Employment vacancies are available in nursing positions at all levels.
This Nationally Accredited Certificate program provides an entry-level
qualification to the Aged Care industry. Successful participants are
qualified as Personal Care Workers with the employment competencies
required for the Aged Care industry, a recognised growth area.
This program is the latest available package. Units included
provide qualifications also in Dementia, Disability and Community Work,
further broadening employment options.
Practical, clinical components are included with many participants
successful in gaining employment while on clinical placement.

Senior First Aid and Manual Handling are included in the course cost

Training is delivered by Educators with work experience in the aged care
industry

Small class sizes with a friendly environment
The course is conducted over a 10-week period. This consists of 8
weeks training and
2
weeks work placement. A total of 3 days per week will be spent in
the College.
This course provides successful graduates with the minimum qualification
for entry to the Aged Care industry. This certificate qualifies
the holder at the level of Personal Care Worker, eligible to work in
aged care facilities, hostels and other related institutions.

more career pathways becoming available, including nursing, community
services and managerial positions. The intensive, yet flexible and user
